LoryMagic.com's creator (Peter Jensen) is shown below in an old photo from 1987-ish. The bird shown was hatched by a
pair of green nape lorikeets discovered in a pet store in Idaho Falls. Such a find remains a minor miracle in Idaho,
with a probability of around one in 50 gazillion. At the time it was even more fantastic — could it be
Lory Magic?
 Shortly after the photo was
taken, Mr. Jensen dropped his lory/parrot interest — in retrospect, a severe case of poor judgement.
Now, many years later, he is "back in the game."
